This is one of the first interviews Stanley Kubrick ever gave. At the time, he was an ambitious 19-year-old working as a freelance photographer for LOOK magazine. The young photographer shows clear ideas about how to achieve a precise aestethic effect with the medium. At the end of the interview, Kubrick confesses his attraction for moving images and that he is about to make a leap to film-making.
